Mercedes-Benz Accessories – Make More of Your Mercedes

Stuttgart, May 2012

How does one convincingly present original accessories from Mercedes-Benz? By clearly showing how beautiful and functional the products are! Which is exactly what Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation did in a new retail marketing campaign for telematics accessories. Contracted by Mercedes-Benz Accessories, the agency came up with the concept, wrote the copy, took the photographs, and did the design work. Its idea of showing and describing a Mercedes as “living, working, and children’s rooms” in a brochure, on posters, in ads, and on quotation forms was enthusiastically received in 30 countries around the world – making it one of the most successful accessory campaigns anywhere. For the first time, Australia and South Africa (among others) were included. What is your car for you?

Eckerle Industrie-Elektronik GmbH – a Strong Brand Presentation

Malsch, April 2012

Likeable, innovative, and competent – this is how the company of Eckerle Industrie-Elektronik GmbH comes across in its corporate image brochure, which Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation conceived, designed, and implemented. The firm’s roots, products, and capabilities unfold on its 12 pages, which are attractively designed to harmonize with the company’s website. Plenty of information is provided, but without packing it in too densely – it has room to breathe. With a clear structure and lots of pictures, the advertising agency invites the reader to learn about the company’s innovative strengths. Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation has thus very successfully achieved the goal of strengthening the brand of Eckerle Industrie-Elektronik GmbH.

Mercedes-Benz Accessories GmbH – Athletic, Esthetic

Stuttgart, April 2012

Advertising can be beautiful – which Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation has impressively demonstrated with the accessories brochure for the launch of the new SL. For the European and U.S. markets, the agency developed and designed a catalog that illustrates this cross between a dynamic sports roadster and a luxurious coupe: sleek mood pictures and peppy image texts perfectly evoke the its blend of sportiness, style, and comfort. To fully convey the esthetics of this unique vehicle and its accessories, Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation worked closely with Otterbach Medien KG GmbH & Co., which brought this dream car to life with computer-generated imagery (CGI). Anyone who’d like to continue dreaming is invited to page through the brochure!

Heike Hilberer – an Example of Vibrant, Authentic Marketing

Offenburg, March 2012

Descriptive, attractive, and convincing – this is how Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation explains products and services every day in graphics, brochures, films, ads, websites, and other media. The agency frequently makes use of interviews as a tried and proven medium for simply and authentically communicating complex topics. We also utilized this technique for Heike Hilberer, a consultant whose specialty is “organic project management”. In order to acquaint as many potential new clients as possible with her offering, the agency placed the interview on several Web portals. With resounding success: within a very short time, at least 500 editors and other interested parties read the interview to learn about organic project management. Even more spectacularly, the “Initiative Mittelstand”, an initiative to promote small and midsized enterprises in Germany, contacted Hilberer after just four days and urged her to compete for the initiative’s IT innovation award. We’re crossing our fingers for her!

Hinneburg GmbH – On-the-Fly Persuasion

Willstätt-Legelshurst, February 2012

Delivering a company’s message quickly, impressively, and convincingly is something that Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation is able to do with three short films lasting less than a minute. For Hinneburg GmbH, the agency developed the ideas for three digital 3D video clips, then designed and implemented them. On the front page of the company’s website, they introduce visitors to the three main themes of radiation protection, plant engineering & jigmaking, and environmental technology. Each of them flies the viewer through the same landscape, each time from a different perspective. In all of the clips, the agency has succeeded in conveying the core message of Hinneburg GmbH: namely to protect and conserve nature and people and improve environmental technology. To see for yourself, visit www.hinneburg.com.

ICOS GmbH & Co. KG – A Leader in Production

Bretten-Gölshausen, January 2012

ICOS GmbH & Co. KG, an innovative producer of high-precision metal parts, wanted its website to be “different from the competition’s.” Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation lived up this expectation – and more, because the company’s new website really stands out. The agency had additional photographs taken at ICOS in order to work almost exclusively with real pictures. Featuring large images and pithy, concise texts, the website illustrates what the company stands for: modernity, efficiency, and clarity. Nothing distracts from its values and qualifications, which are instead underscored by the carefully chosen pictures. The same statements apply to the Christmas card that Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation also created for ICOS, which very successfully builds a bridge between the company and the holiday.

VOLKSWOHNUNG GmbH – Compelling Decals

Karlsruhe, January 2012

What’s the best way to attract attention to vacant real estate? The solution: with window decals! VOLKSWOHNUNG GmbH often has offices and shops to rent. For the first campaign, Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation attached decals that made it look like passers-by were pressing their noses against the windows. This signaled that there was something really interesting to look at inside. And the trick worked! Real people – including, perhaps, the future store operators – soon also began stopping to see what all the fuss was about. This proves that advertising really works – especially when it’s well-done.

Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation – the Cookie Project

Karlsruhe, December 2011

As a Christmas gift for its clients, the agency came up with a special idea: Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation would give not only its valued business partners a little treat, but also the students of the August Sibylla special school in Rastatt. Together with them, school director Sylke Mauderer, and teacher Harald Haaß, the UP team baked tasty cookies in the Backstube Brezels bakery in Gaggenau. The best part of it was that the youngsters immediately felt like part of the UP team and pitched in with great enthusiasm and élan, without even a trace of shyness. Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation also delighted the children and adolescents who couldn’t come: with a huge box of the cookies that was delivered straight to the school.
In case you’d like to check out the cookie baking project yourself, pictures have been posted here. On this note, we wish all of our clients, suppliers, and business partners a lovely, enjoyable Christmas and a great start into the New Year.

Hinneburg GmbH – 25 Years of New Perspectives

Willstätt-Legelshurst, December 2011

How do you showcase a company that is about to turn 25 and keeps on evolving? The convincing answer from Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation: with a three-day celebration at which business partners, cusdtomers, employees, and neighbors can get to know the many facets and perspectives of Hinneburg GmbH. Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation designed and implemented the invitation, the program, and a corporate image brochure. The agency also invented, organized, and supervised the setup of a product exhibition and the decoration of a production hall for the event. Banners, rollups, and digital presentations provided glimpses of what Hinneburg does. The visitors received full presentation folders that included the new corporate image brochure. Impressive 3D films acquainted them with the company’s three areas of competence. All in all, it was a pleasant and very informative 25th anniversary celebration that thrilled guests and journalists alike. This is the way to party!

VOLKSWOHNUNG GmbH – the Commercial Site That Suits You

Karlsruhe, November 2011

“Plenty of room for your ideas” is the motto of the leaflet that Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation designed for VOLKSWOHNUNG GmbH to advertise its space offerings for commercial and industrial use. Besides being the largest housing landlord in Karlsruhe, VOLKSWOHNUNG also owns a great deal of commercial and industrial real estate and manages additional units in residential and commercial properties for third parties. Having already presented this client’s apartments and houses in many attractive and inviting exposés, it was only logical for Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation to also quite literally give the still-vacant commercial space room to unfold. The eight-page leaflet opens into a four-page spread showing the locations of all of the reference properties. The agency’s concept also included information on the city and the commercial real estate team of VOLKSWOHNUNG. For the benefit of those who are unfamiliar with Karlsruhe, an overview lists the many advantages of operating there – and lets them pick out the space that is best suited to their needs.

Across Systems GmbH – Meeting Point for All Industries

Karlsbad, November 2011

Translators, language service providers, and entrepreneurs – a joint booth of Across Systems und Congree Language Technologies was a magnet at the annual conference organized by the German Professional Association for Technical Communication and Information Development (tekom). Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation made a major contribution by creating the modern, friendly booth, which enticed visitors to drop in and stay a while. Clear, unambiguous messages enabled them to quickly find the right product or person to talk to. The agency also designed practical flyers in A4, A5, and DL formats for the two companies, which offer authoring and translation systems and solutions, to clearly and attractively inform visitors about the booth party and presentations. These successful events attracted considerable crowds – also thanks to the target-group-tailored communication materials created by Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation.

Bischoff & Bischoff GmbH – a Weighty Campaign for Robust Products

Karlsbad, October 2011

With a sales promotion campaign for the XXL range of Bischoff & Bischoff GmbH, Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation has come up with an ingeniously simple way to drive home a product’s benefits. This Karlsbad, Germany-based company develops and sells a broad portfolio that includes wheelchairs and scooters, and its XXL products are designed for heavier-than-average users. With the slogan “Stable Companions for Strong Users”, Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation designed and implemented large floor stickers a meter in diameter as well as realistic-looking 200-kilogram weights made of Styrofoam. The agency’s idea: to place a Rollator from the client’s XXL range and a weight, which corresponds to its maximum load, on a sticker. Anyone visiting one of 50 selected dealers this fall will see at once just how robust the XXL products are. It’s a weighty campaign that promises to generate a strong demand.

CSAT GmbH – a Persuasive Portrayal

Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen, September 2011

How does Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation portray the world market leader in the field of digital industrial inline printing? With a reduced presentation that exudes confidence, clearly stresses the client’s core competencies, and lets its products speak for themselves. This is how it was done at Interpack 2011, the world’s most important trade show for the packaging and allied industries. At the booth – completely decorated in blue and white – the machines were the center of attention, and there were no two-dimensional product illustrations at all. Instead, brief descriptions filled visitors in on the three machines. This concept convinced both the company and its guests at the show. Thanks to the agency, CSAT GmbH subsequently reported plenty of sales successes.

UP Inside – 20 Years of Getting Constantly Bigger and Better

Karlsruhe, August 2011

August 8, 2011 was a very special date for Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation – it was the 20th anniversary of the agency’s founding. What began in 1991 as a small but exquisite advertising agency has meanwhile grown into a large branding agency focusing on B2B. And we have consistently applied the adage of our founder, Jochen Ücker: “Keep on going, never stop”. We are committed to helping our clients communicate their brands long-term in ways that will strengthen them internally and externally. We therefore stress the importance of employees identifying with their company and brand. Their awareness and enthusiasm for the brand or company then rubs off on both newly hired staff and customers, thus lastingly ensuring success.
We would like to warmly thank all of our clients, suppliers, supporters, and friends for these past 20 great years, and are looking forward to working on many more exciting projects with them!

The smart Conquers America

New York, August 2011

Last year Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation sent the little brother of the Mercedes-Benz brand on a trip through major European cities. Now the smart gets to proudly show off its options in New York: for Mercedes-Benz USA, Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation devised a concept that smartly presents it in the big city jungle. The fresh, urban design of the resulting 28-page brochure shows how at home the smart is in the Big Apple: it wins the reader’s heart as it drives straight through New York City. During the day or at night, alongside skyscrapers or in rush hour traffic – with its options for the U.S. market, thanks to the work of Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation, the smart clearly announces that “I’m a New Yorker.”

The Augusta Sibylla School in Rastatt – a Helping Hand for Children

Rastatt, July 2011

A child comes out of the shadows, develops, and enjoys learning and being part of a group. This is symbolized by the logo that Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation has designed for the Augusta Sibyll School (ASS) – thus summing up the mission of this special school for learning-disabled and behaviorally challenged children. In addition to creating the logo, the agency conceived, designed, and programmed the school’s entire website – its first – on a pro bono basis. The project is just one of the many charitable and sponsoring activities that Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation is carrying out in 2011.
The website of the Augusta Sibylla School is child-appropriate and school-centered, in other words it is colorful and friendly and almost only shows pictures of and from the school itself. The students can also present themselves on the Internet: each class has its own page for posting schoolwork, poems, pictures, etc. The teachers and students are delighted with the website – and also with the lanyards with the new www address that Jochen Ücker, Nina Heuser, and Marco Ruess handed out at the website inauguration event. Trainees Heuser (marketing communication) and Ruess (media design) were also involved in designing the logo and website; Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation makes a point of fostering its trainees’ learning with projects of this kind. The attractive ASS logo and website can be admired at www.augusta-sibylla-schule-rastatt.de.

GOLFCLUB Bad Liebenzell e.V. – for a Good Professional Advantage

Bad Liebenzell, July 2011

The participants in the MASTERS 2011 tournament that the Bad Liebenzell Golf Club is holding in early July can pit themselves against the best players – thanks to Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation. This year our agency, which has sponsored the event from the start – making seven times so far – has once again donated the invitation mailing and a poster for the high-class tournament, which will be contended on one of the Black Forest region’s most beautiful golf courses. Golf centers around the ball – and so does the new flyer design that we have specially created for this year’s tournament: a round cutout reveals a stylized golf ball that piques the curiosity. The flyer also presents the sponsors in a row of elegant panels. Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation wishes everyone the greatest of success!

weisenburger bau GmbH – Optimum Service, Step by Step

Rastatt, June 2011

What does weisenburger bau actually do? This question is answered adroitly, quickly, and stylishly in a flyer prepared by Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation. Because the housing construction company usually only has a few minutes to present its services to a prospective client, the agency chose a handy 15 by 15 cm cross-folded flyer. It explains step by step weisenburg’s 360° approach to complete customer care, showing that weisenburger bau has much more to offer than terraced houses: it also advises clients and also handles contracts and sales. The flyer explains clearly and concisely how clients benefit. In this way, the agency is making weisenburger bau GmbH and its clients happy, while communicating what distinguishes the company: namely, enthusiasm in everything it does.

Pädagogium Baden-Baden – Three Logos in Half a Day

Karlsruhe, June 2011

In June, Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation hosted a group of young, creative guests: the 8c class of the Pädagogium Baden-Baden school spent half a day at the agency working on its own logo and slogan. The pupils will form a “company” to sell food from various countries at the school’s sports festival in July. So they naturally need their own logo. The event’s motto is “Around the World in 80 Days” based on the novel by Jules Verne. And the class was well-prepared: they brought graphic designs of a globe, which they wanted to be included. Nina Heuser, a marketing communication trainee at the agency, looked after the pupils and explained how Ücker und Partner Markenkommunikation goes about creating a logo. Creative director Florian Tessmar and copywriter Christiane Henrich helped design it and develop a slogan. In four hours, the 22 students came up with a large number of good ideas. In the end, they all agreed on the slogan “Around the World in 80 Bites” and three logo versions that graphic designer Sebastian Placzek implemented. The logo that the students select will appear on their T-shirts at the sports festival.
